Mr. Barry L. AldenderferBarry L. "Butch" Aldenderfer, 64, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. He was born January 26, 1947 in Stoutsville and was the son of the late Harry Leland and Ina Cinderella (Betz) Aldenderfer. Barry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Defiance and Omega Lodge #564 F & AM.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rae Ann (Snyder) Aldenderfer; daughters, Ina Christine (William) Antoniak of Dublin and Penny Jane Aldenderfer of Margate, Florida; grandson, Talyn Magnus James; four sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

I knew Butch when he was in his early twenties..He was married at that time to my sister Brenda and they lived in Florida. I went to visit when their daughter Ina Christine was born. He was always entertaining with his unbelievable rendition of Elvis songs. His voice was amazing. He passed that talent on to Ina.

Barry was the best dad. He had lots of love in his heart for all especially for his family. He may never know how much he meant to soo many people but he was one in a millon. He will be greatly missed but has gone home to be w/ Lord in a much better place

To the family of Barry Aldenderfer: The Officers and members of Omega Lodge #564 offer our condolence in the passing of Barry a dear friend to many of us and we will alway remember his sense of humor and good nature. Word can't express our sense of loss nor the sorrow in our heart at a time like this but with time we will be left with a fond memory of our brother Barry.
