Mr. Barry F. Hood

Barry F. Hood, 57, of Sugar Grove, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at OSU Medical Center. He was born July 22, 1955 in Columbus and was the son of the late Francis and Ina (Nicholson) Hood. Barry was a retired Lt. Col. of the U.S. Navy and served in the Viet Nam and Gulf Wars. He received his Master's degree from Regis University and was the CEO of Radiology with Dr. T.C. Hobbs and Associates.
He is survived by his wife, Robin (Tyler) Hood; children, Toni (Israel) Flaten, Lisa Happeny, Stacey (Jared) Jeffery, Barry Hood Jr., David and Jamie Hayhurst; many grandchildren and one great grandson; brother, Mike (Annette) Hood and sister, Karen (Danny) Arnold.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at Royalton Community Church, 515 Amanda Northern Rd., Amanda, Ohio 43102.
