Mr. Clyde Raymond Arledge Jr

Clyde R. Arledge Jr., of Londonderry, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1936 in Orient and was the son of Clyde R. and Georgia M. (Rhymer) Arledge Sr. Clyde was a U.S. Navy veteran and an independent truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Donnie (Turner) Arledge; children, Christina (Matt) Noble of Adelphi, Bonnie (Wayne) Leach of Stoutsville, Ted (Teri) Arledge of Lancaster, Brian Arledge of Stoutsville, Jeff (Lisa) Arledge of Kingston and Melody (Gary) Walker of Circleville; ten grandchildren, one great grandson and two step grandchildren; mother, Georgia Arledge of Stoutsville; three brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to offset expenses.

clyde my daddy was a loving wonderful father he liked to make us laugh . he loved to play his guitar,go fishing and hunting .he would do anything for anyone ,he would give the shirt off his back if u needed it.I used to go to work with him in his dumptruck alot and all his buddies called me sleeping beauty and said i sure dont understand how she sleeps in a truck that bounces around all the time but i always did.i loved him so much and he sure will be missed . I LOVE U DAD! AND I SURE WILL MISS U! LOVE YOUR DAUGHTER MELODY

My Dad is very much missed. He always made me feel so safe. I am and will miss him everyday for the rest of my life.

He was the best grandfather a boy could ask to have i love him very much and i miss him so much.I dint think it would be so hard to lose some one so close but it sure was it was the hardest thing i ever had to go threw.
