Mr. Daniel P. Bigham

Daniel P. Bigham, 57, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at OSU Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1954 in Lancaster and was the son of the late Homer and Bette (Harmon) Bigham. Daniel was a 1973 graduate of Lancaster High School and veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during the VietNam era.
He is survived by his children, Shane Bigham of Reynoldsburg and Misty (Greg) Schultz of Lancaster; grandchildren, Noah and Adalyn Bigham, Austin, Hunter and Breanna Schultz; sisters, Rita Osborne and Penny Blosser both of Lancaster, Carol (Bob) Minnard and Dale (Jeff) Lutz both of Amanda and Charlotte Rizer of Bremen; brother-in-law, Marty Diaz of Amanda and several nieces and nephews including Nathan and Maggie Minnard. In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry, Henry "Hank" and Terry Bigham; sisters, Donna Bigham and Debbra Diaz and brother-in-law, Carl Blosser.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Chris Hildenbrand officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery with military honors provided by AMVETS Post #2256, Circleville. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
