Daniel Merkoziaj, 43, of Grove City, Dec. 15, 2012 at the Pickering House, Lancaster. Born in Albania on Nov. 20, 1969 the son of Lutfi and Irini (Angjeli) Merkoziaj. Daniel was a professor at Columbus State University. Survived by wife, Arjola Hizmo; daughter, Eva Maria Merkoziaj; mother, Irini Merkoziaj; sister, Anna (Douglas) Ruff.
Services 1:30 p.m. today at the Greek Orthodox Church, 555 N. High St., Columbus with Father Demetrios Gardikes officiating. Burial in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.
