David C. Berry, 51, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center. David was born October 1, 1960 in Lancaster and was the son of Gordon and Ruth (Sanders) Berry Sr. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Lancaster and was a former butcher for Falter's Meat Packing Co. in Columbus.
David is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diana (Williams) Berry; children, Bradlee, Jack and Jennifer Berry all of the home; brother, Jeff Berry of Lancaster; mother-in-law, Shirley Locke of Lancaster; sister-in-law, Jackie (Rick) Fowler of Lancaster; aunt and uncle, Harold (Marjorie) Dambaugh of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, Lyndsey and Kyle Bigham, Abby (Steve) Fox, Melissa (James) Fitzgerald, Emily and Kyle Berry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Berry Jr. and father-in-law, Paul Locke.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Roy Maple officiating. Burial will be in Stukey Cemetery, Sugar Grove. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions be made to the Taylor Funeral Home to help with expenses.
