Dayrel J. Huffer, 60, of Stoutsville, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born June 22, 1951 in Circleville and was the son of the late Jesse and Thelma (Lutz) Huffer. Dayrel worked as an auto technician for Yates Buick in Circleville and was the former owner of Car-Toon Auto in Circleville and D.J. Auto in Stoutsville.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joan (Staten) Huffer; children, David Huffer of Stoutsville, Katie (Jeff) Patton of Cincinnati and Diana (Adam) Feasel of Commercial Point; grandchildren, Darian Huffer, Sadie and Taylor Patton, Braden and Brooklyn Feasel; brothers, Pastor Ted (Barbara) Davis and Willie (Barb) Davis both of Amanda, Jerry (Roseann) Davis of Tarlton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Edgar, Dan and Tom Davis.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. John Church in Stoutsville. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda.
