Mr. Frederick E. Hooker

Frederick E. "Freddie" Hooker, 91, of Circleville, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at Circleville Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 27, 1919 in Lancaster and was the son of the late William and Marie (Magle) Hooker. Fred was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII and retired from Lancaster Glass.
Fred is survived by a son Robert (Sandy) Hooker of Circleville; daughter, Sandra (Mike) Miller of Lancaster; grandchildren, Denise (Mike) Morgan of Tarlton, Jon R. (Jennifer) Hooker of Amanda, Timothy R. Hooker of Columbus, Tina Reeves of Lancaster and Shana (J.M.) Hoey of Lancaster; great grandchildren, Emily and Alex Morgan, Brady and Katie Hooker, Hailey and Colon Hooker, Clay and Shaylee Hoey and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret, Mary and Katie.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Tony Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville where military honors will be given by AMVETS Post #2256, Circleville. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
