To Jacks Family,

Although I was priviledged to know Jack for only a short time I found him to be generous and intensly interested in leaving a legacy in his life long home of Fairfield County. To that end Jack donated building material to help in the restroation of Rock Mill. It was my good fortune to meet Jack at the mill just before Christmas to tell him of the future plans for the mill and the fact that we would be using his materials beginning in February to add another floor to the inetrior of the mill. Although I will miss him I celebrate his life and will work hard to make sure that others know of his example and his work to preserve some of the past for the future.

Thank you Jack. Dave Fey
