Mr. Jeff C. Fields

Jeff C. Fields, 65, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at Grant Hospital as a result of an auto accident. Jeff was born May 8, 1948 in Columbus and was the son of the late Conard and Janice (Wills) Fields. He was the owner and operator of Better Quality Home Improvement.
Jeff is survived by his son, Jeff (Kellie) Fields of Lancaster; grandchildren, Krista Fields, Brittany Vermillion, Tiffany Fields and Jesse Fields; 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Randy (Connie Jo) Fields, Jannie Kay McNamee, Jim (Jody) Fields and Connie Sue (fiancé Sonny) Middleton all of Groveport, Barry (Nora) Fields of Jena, LA, Diane Herb of Columbus, Robin Fields of Ashville, Gene Fields of Lafayette and Joann (George) Sechrest of Lancaster and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Fields.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Paul Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
