I was lucky enough to know Sheets for a short time while stationed at Ft Riley. He was always quick with a smile and joke and was as brave as anyone I ever met. It's so sad that such a bright light was darkened so early. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sad time.

Joe and I had so much fun at cedar point for a trip with our physics class. This was our senior year in highschool. It was such a fun trip to share with him. He was always smiling and could have fun no matter what he was doing. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I am proud of him for enlisting in the Army and serving our country. Joe will be missed by many. My prayers are with his friends and family.
