Kenneth "Joe" Baldwin, 77, of Amanda, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Joe was born July 12, 1935 in Adelphi and was the son of the late Kenneth Emmer and Mabel (Huffman) Baldwin. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Anderson Road Construction and a lifetime member of the Harley Owner's Group, Lancaster.
Joe is survived by his wife, Bev (Manbevers) Baldwin; children, Kenneth (Linda) Baldwin of Circleville, Don (Deb) Baldwin of Amanda, Cindy (Rick) Goodman of Amanda, Becky (Bill Gooley) Gierhart of Rockbridge, Beth (Bob) Notestone of Amanda and Danny Baldwin of Somerset, KY; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Roy and Fred Palmer and Emmer (Arlene) Baldwin all of Circleville; sister, Carol (Mike) Crosby of Stoutsville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Emmer Baldwin and grandson, Jason Pugh.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Bob Powell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made to the Clearcreek Twp. EMS in Joe's memory.
