Mr. Kenneth Paul Culbertson

Kenneth Paul Culbertson Sr., 66, of Stoutsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Pickering House following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 4, 1947 in Zanesville and was the son of the late Theodore and Ida (Miller) Culbertson. He was an owner-operator for many years and made many friends during his professional career.
He is survived by his wife, Renae (Valentine) Culbertson; daughters, Angela (Brian) Thaxton of Stoutsville and Klarissa (Sean) Kuhn of Lancaster; sons, Kenneth "Bud" (Kendra Flowers) Culbertson Jr. and Keith Culbertson both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Austin and Erin Thaxton, Kayla Culbertson, Kyle, Kolt and Aleah Culbertson; sisters, Norma Eveland, Shirley (Melvin) Bowersock; brother, Larry (Mary Anne) Culbertson; sister-in-law, Betty Culbertson all of Lancaster; great aunt, Grace Miller of Thornville; close friend, Melissa Deal of Lancaster and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by sisters, Clara Cordle, Pauline English; brothers, Lester and Gerald Culbertson and close friend, Danny Deal.

Cremation has been handled with care by the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service. The family would like memorial contributions be made to FairHope Hospice and the Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in Kenneth's memory.
