Mr. Larry Lee Miller

Larry L. Miller, age 64, of Amanda, passed away November 15, 2013 at the Pickering House. He was born November 25, 1948 in Circleville and was the son of the late Merle E. and Pauline E. (Harvey) Miller. He was a member of St. John Church in Stoutsville, a 1967 graduate of Amanda-Clearcreek High School and was a heavy equipment mechanic for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18, District 3 in Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Vincent) Miller; sons, Karl Miller of Amanda, Keith Miller of South Bloomingville and Keary Miller of Chillicothe; daughters, Janice Morningstar-Ray of Circleville and Cheryl Morningstar-LeMaster of Jackson; grandchildren, Kaleb, Jacob, Eric, Shalynn, Heather, Jamie, Kenny and Dustin; great grandsons, Devon and Brennen; sister, Roberta "Sis" (James) Taylor of Circleville; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog Sara and many friends from Kenansville, Florida where he and Mary spent the winters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gail Miller.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Ted Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
