Leland G. Dupler, 77, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Pickering House. He was born December 12, 1936 in Fairfield County and was the son of the late John F. and Nada (Martin) Dupler. Leland was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, U.S. Army veteran, self employed truck driver and a member of Amanda Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Maryln (Snoke) Dupler; nephew, Jeff (Jody) Dupler of Amanda; great niece, Josie Dupler and a great nephew, Jared Dupler; brothers-in-law, Father Floyd Richard Snoke and Gene Snoke both of Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Snoke of Lancaster and Melissa K. (Russell) Skinner of Colorado. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, a brother Eugene Dupler preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family would like contributions to be made to the Amanda United Methodist Church or Amanda Twp. Fire Dept. in Leland's memory.
