We all have very fond memories of Russell! Whether it was watching him create the most amazing birds from hunks of wood...Dad and Russell spending countless hours together trolling over the weed bed in front of the island to see who could catch the biggest bass...us kids being tossed over his head out in the deep water...we will always remember what a fun guy he was. Probably he and Dad are swapping fish stories even now!
lots of love,

Daddy, I miss you so much. I go along fine then suddenly remember I can't call you and my heart breaks. You were a wonderful dad who taught me about nature and animals. You loved your grandchildren. Each of them were so special to you and they each loved you deeply. I will always remeber our talks, the times fishing on Star in Canada, and tasking the dogs for runs in the fields on those golden fall days. I love you Daddy!

Russell was a wonderful and kind gentleman. I feel blessed to have had the last couple of years to have him as my friend. I know he was a great wood carver because he showed me several of the things he had made...beautiful! I shared with him that I would have loved to watch and learn from him the art of wood carving...I know he would have been a great teacher. My thoughts are with you all and I am praying that the God of all comfort will be your comforter and surround you with His love, His peace, and His strength.
God Bless you,

Russell. Fond memories of all of our moments together. Never forget when he shot the raccoon out of the tree and a ran screaming when it bounced not more than 5 feet from me saying the Hail Mary at the top of my lungs.
So many years together in the summer at Star. Thanks givings together were such fun. Our kids will forever remember the water fights with Worthington and Samuels families. Treasures. Those memories are priceless for all of us.
Lots of love to all the Samuels.
