Mr. Vernon Nisly

Vernon Nisly, 81, of Carroll, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Rockmill Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 18, 1929 in Hutchinson, Kansas and was the son of the late Eli and Alma (Miller) Nisly.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa (Eicher) Nisly; son Kent (Pam) Nisly and grandson, Jacob Nisly both of Pompano, Florida; brothers and sisters, Velma (Roy) Plank of Indiana, Bunny (Clarence) Stutzman of Wooster, Cal (Orpha) Nisly of Florida, Sylvia (John) Nisly and Willis (Becky) Nisly both of Kansas, Harley (Norma) Nisly of Iowa, Wayne (Luella) Nisly of Columbus, Liz (John) Bender of California, Dorothy (Ron) Miller of Lancaster, Marv (Fern) Nisly of Virginia, Elva (Rudy) Smith of Montana, Maynard (Ruth) Nisly of Delaware, Merle (Rita) Nisly of Canada, Sanford (Emily) Nisly of Hartville, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Roger Nisly.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Roy Maple officiating. Burial will follow in Lithopolis Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
