Mr. Vincent Brian Cordle

V. Brian Cordle, 51, of Rockbridge, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 8, 1959 in Lancaster and was the son of Clarence and Arleta (Ogg) Cordle. He was a 1978 graduate of A-C High School and a fork lift driver for T & D Thompson Co. in Laurelville.

He is survived by his life long companion Judy Kane; son, Shawn (Lisa) Scarberry of Amanda; daughters, Megan (John) Auker of Columbus, Missy (Adam) Hoffman and Jennifer Lowe both of Logan; grandchildren, Cole and Ally Hoffman, Dakotah and Ashlee Foley and Emily Lowe; mother, Arleta Cordle of Lancaster; brothers, Terry (Nancy) Cordle of Stoutsville, Dale (Donna) Cordle and Rob Smith both of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Cordle; brothers, Gary, Rick and Randy and a sister, Kitt Dillie.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
