Mrs. Alice L. DeLong
July 28, 1913 — September 29, 2013
Alice DeLong, 100, formerly of Amanda, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. She was born July 28, 1913 in Nelsonville and was the daughter of the late George and Neva (Matheney) Sanders. Alice was a member of Fifth Ave. Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Lee (Nellie) DeLong, Jr. and Gerald (Rosie) DeLong both of Lancaster and Geneva (Pete) Courtney of Amanda; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee DeLong, Sr.; three brothers and one sister.
Grave side services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone at Crestview for their care of Alice.
