Bessie M. Love, 103, of Circleville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Brown Memorial Home in Circleville.
She was born March 16, 1908 in Fairfield Co. and was the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Shupe Bowers.
Bessie was preceded in death by husbands, Earl Doering and Franklin Love; son, Gerald Doering; and four brothers, Walter, Clay, Russell and Boyd Bowers.
She is survived by a daughter in law, Jeannine Doering of Circleville; granddaughter, Susan Doering of Circleville; great grandson, Jeremy Doering of Circleville; great granddaughter, Erica (Tony) Fowler of Tarlton; four great great grandchildren, Case Lewis, Breeana, Tia and Taylor Fowler; and she is also survived by a step daughter, Eilene (Homer) Beavers of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call at the Funeral Home, 1-6 p.m. Tuesday.
