Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Grubb

Carolyn R. Grubb, 61, of Amanda, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Berger Hospital. She was born August 10, 1949 in Stoutsville and was the daughter of the late Verne and Betty (Smith) Carter. Carolyn was a graduate of Logan Elm High School, U.S. Marine serving in Viet Nam and was retired from General Electric.
She is survived by her husband, Don Grubb; children, Jenny Grubb of Amanda and Jeff (Michelle) Grubb of Great Falls, Montana; grandchildren, Ashlyn Grubb and Blake Scarberry; five brother, five sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Willie Booth officiating. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery where military honors will be provided by AMVETS Post #2256. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
