Mrs. Carolyn Jean Kelley

Carolyn Jean "Jeanie" Kelley, 63, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1947 in Laurel Co., Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Mary Jane Asher. Jeanie was raised by her grandparents along with her aunts and uncles. She was formerly employed by Western Electric in Indianapolis, Indiana. She loved flowers and gardening. Jeanie was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Kelley
She is survived by her husband of 41 years Billy Joe Kelley; daughter, Karen Jae Ford of Whitehall; four granddaughters, Ashley, Kelley, Danielle and Megan Ford; one brother, three sisters; aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Murphy Parks Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Indiana. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A visitation will also be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda, Ohio.
