D. Jean Strickler

Dorothy Jean Strickler, 82, Columbus (Formerly of Lancaster and Amanda) died Tuesday at Wexner Heritage Village in Columbus. Prior to moving to Wexner in 2001, Jean was a member of the Lancaster Presbyterian Church, Fairfield County Agricultural Society / Fairfield County Fair and Farm Bureau Council #33.
Jean is survived by a daughter Diana (James) Rhymer, and sons Vaughn Strickler, Virgil (Kim) Strickler and Jeff (Libby) Strickler, grandchildren Shawna (Wes) Martens, Melissa (Jason) Cordial, Alyson, Ashlee, Tiffany, Katie, Drew, Ellie Jo and Chad, 3 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Jean Strickler and brother-in-law Jim Scholl.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband Elvin, sister Mary Edith Scholl, parents James and Edith Miller and great grandchild Trey Martens.
Friends may visit from 5-8 PM Thursday or 1-2 PM Friday at TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 111 West Main St. in Amanda. Funeral Services will be at 2PM Friday at the funeral home with Deaconess Linda S. Frank officiating. Burial we follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairfield County Fair Agricultural Society in care of the funeral home
