Donna J. VanGundy, 52, passed away Dec. 4, 2013 in Pickaway County. She was born Dec. 22, 1960 in Circleville and was the daughter of Guy Richard and June Lee (Floyd) Allison. Donna worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Grove City.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Doug VanGundy; sons, Kenneth (Marissa) VanGundy of Stoutsville and Tyler (Lexi) VanGundy of Tarlton; mother, June L. Allison; sisters, Edith (Tom "Tucker") Lutz of Texas and Robin (Tom) Dunlap of Circleville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Guy Allison.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Angel Crowell officiating. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Tarlton Fire Dept., Pickaway Co. Sheriff's Dept., Rescue 101 and her mud bog family for their help and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tarlton Fire Dept. or Rescue 101 in Donna's memory.
