Mrs. Fern L. Speakman

Fern L. Speakman, 73, of Amanda, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 21, 1939 in Hocking County and was the daughter of the late Harry and Hilda (Turner) Smith.
Fern is survived by her children, Diane (Dane) Clark and Kirby Ray (Tracey) Smith both of Chillicothe, Krystal (Randy) Howard of Amanda; grandchildren, Denise (Gary) Herron, Donny (Brandy) VanCuren, Kristin Clark, Anthony, Jessica, Sara and Katelyn Smith, Taylor Bane, Cody Newman, Harlie Speakman, Kenny, Rodney and Tyler Howard; great grandchildren, Cody, Delany, Daley, Ryder, Reegan, Ashlyn, Brayden and Jakob; brothers, John (Pat) Smith of Londonderry and Robert (Barb) Smith of Kingston; sisters, Ruby Karshner of Kingston and Betty Fetherolf of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Mac Smith and a sister, Carolyn Spangler.
