Mrs. Jo A. Riegel

Jo A. Riegel, 69 of Amanda, passed away Monday July 26, 2010 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1940 in Marion, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mabel Herr Dill. Jo was a member of the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church. . She received a Bachelors Degree in education from The Ohio State Univ. and a Masters degree in Library Science from Kent State Univ. After serving as the librarian at the A-C School, she served as the librarian at Wagnalls Memorial in Lithopolis for 29 years . Jo is survived by her husband, Gregg R. Riegel, a daughter, Shelley (Barry) Russell of Amanda, 2 granddaughters Kelley and Michelle Russell and 2 Brothers: Richard (Jean) Dill of Xenia and Thomas (Elsie) Dill of New Jersey, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Phyllis Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.
