Joan will be truly missed. She was my mom's best friend and like an aunt to me. We had many good times over the years.

Having had the pleasure of knowing Joan was a gift to say the least. She was elegant and a most gracious lady. Back in the day when Joan was one of my clients, I'd always set aside extra time in the salon so we could swap family stories/events. She loved family and was always so proud of her children. She had a heart of gold and a strong constitution for living life to its fullest. I will always remember the laughter and good times we shared. Dressed to the 9's and a beautiful smile! That's how I will think of her.
My deepest sympathy and prayers.
Rest in Peace "Pretty Lady".

My prayers for comfort are with you all. She was a wonderful, funny, lovely lady I enjoyed being friends with. My fond memories were when we both cared for our mothers literally side by side at Crestview as they were roommates. We often joked about getting old and being roommates ourselves and would laugh often of the things we would do for fun. I will miss running into her places, as we always have. May God and time comfort you and all of her friends during her absence. Take Care of each other, Lori Graf Myrtle Toole's daughter.

My prayers go out to the family of Joan. My favoriate Memrories are of her being my first Partylite leader. She was like a mother to me.She shared a love of candles with me that I had with no one else. She showed me the ropes and I thank God for her wisdom, humor and all around kindness.
