Mrs. Lena Marie Myers

Lena M. Myers, 80, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born Jan. 25, 1933 in Vinton County and was the daughter of the late Floyd H. and Grace E. (VanFossen) Francis. Lena was a retired Supervisor of housekeeping at Fairfield Medical Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Rick Sheets) Wilkin of Sugar Grove and Terri (Dave) Leupold of Amanda; her beloved companion Sadie; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Stevens of West Rushville, Betty Stevens of Lancaster and Sue Deffenbaugh of Amanda; son-in-law, Randy Mace and daughter-in-law, LouAnn Bowersock both of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Bowersock and Lee Myers; son, Gary Bowersock; daughters, Connie Bowersock and Sharon Mace; son-in-law, Terry Wilkin and three brothers, Harold, Edgar and Bernerd Francis.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Terry Borah officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society, 1581 Dodd Dr Columbus, OH 43210 in memory of her children.
