Mrs. Louise A. Hensel

Louise A. Hensel, 76, of Amanda, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Crestview Manor. She was born July 14, 1935 in Amanda and was the daughter of the late Loren and Estella (Hartman) Armstrong. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Amanda and 1953 graduate of Amanda High School. Louise worked side by side with her husband Paul operating a dairy farm for over 50 years. One of her favorite jobs was caring for the baby calves born on the farm.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Janice (Rodney) Francis of Amanda; granddaughter, Susan Francis of Columbus; sisters, Marilyn Badurina of Columbus and Linda (Larry) Beougher of Amanda; brother-in-law, Cliff (Linda) Hensel of Grove City and a niece, Maralyn Annashee of Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Hensel on September 13, 2010 and brother-in-law, Ernie Badurina.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Julian Taggart officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
