Mrs. M. Charlotte Barnes

M. Charlotte Barnes, 73, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2012. She was born September 29, 1939 in Mt. Vernon and was the daughter of the late Leland and Dorotha (Myers) Larimore. Charlotte attended Mt. Carmel United Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Centerburg High School and attended Heidelberg College Business School. She was employed by Nationwide and Columbus Mutual Insurance Companies for a short time.
On October 12, 1965 she married William "Bill" Barnes who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Leland Larimore. She is survived by her children, Robert "Rob" Barnes of Arizona, Cindy (Gary) Cunningham of Lancaster, Carolyn Brainard of Logan and Catherine (Scott) Knight of Dublin; grandchidlren, Mandy, Blake, Konner, Alyssa, Brad, Chase, Caleb and Cody; brother, William Larimore of Centerburg; sisters, Wilma (Roy) Mahlon and June (Loren) Heller both of Frostproof, Florida and Dorothy Eyster of Centerburg and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Fred A. Albrecht and Rev. Marilin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday.
