Marlyn K. Pittman, age 72 of Lancaster. Passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Pickering House. She was born January 22, 1940 in Lancaster to the late Wilbert and Ruby (Smith) Hines. She was a member of Amanda United Methodist Church and enjoyed Chair Volleyball with the Lunch Bunch. She is survived by her husband Richard of nearly 50 years of marriage. Daughter Marlena (Shawn) Herron of Lancaster. Grandchildren Isaiah, Hannah, Jeremiah, Alydia, Luke, Angel, Elijah, and Micaiah Herron all of Lancaster, sisters Mary (Duane) Armison of New York, Juanita (Robert ) Kane of Laurelville and Elaine Tatman of Lancaster; brothers Jerry "Mike" (Diana) Hines, Terry (Sherry) Hines, and Wilbert "Billy" Hines all of Lancaster; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Gary Hines. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Tony Hudson officiating. Friends may call Monday 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request donations to the Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130 in Marlyn's memory.
