Mrs. Mary E. Miller

Mary E. Miller, 89, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Pickering House. Mary was born September 10, 1922 in Groveport and was the daughter of the late Worthington M. and Ethel (Rager) McDonald. She was a member of Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Church in Sugar Grove and the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary was the former owner and operator of Four Acres for 35 years.
She is survived by a sister, Jane (John) Steinmetz of Lancaster; son-in-law, Paul David Roberts of Carroll; grandchildren, Bernard Roberts and Lynda Lopresti both of Canal Winchester, Scott Roberts of Columbus, Nicole Warner (Brandon), Sara Hendrickson and Clinton Hendrickson all of Indiana; stepchildren, Shirley (Charles) Evans of Lancaster, Keith (Debbie) Miller of Sugar Grove, Jeff Miller, Rod (Donna) Miller and Vickie Cordle all of Lancaster; numerous great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Hendrickson, Leroy Smith and Pearl Miller; son, Robert Hendrickson Jr.and daughter, Melanie Roberts; brothers, Dale and Gerald McDonald; sister, Joann Julian and stepson, Randy Miller.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Danny Koch officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made to either FairHope Hospice or Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Church in Mary's memory.
