Mrs. Wanda Ruth Valentine

Wanda R. Valentine, 78, of Amanda, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Heartland-Fairfield. She was born October 24, 1933 in Circleville and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Nora (Starkey) Happenny. She formerly worked at GE in Circleville.
Wanda is survived by her children, Michael (Shelly) Brumfield of Howe, Oklahoma, Roger (Susan) Brumfield of Amanda, Cheryl Gatwood and Karen (Ron) Carpenter both of Lancaster; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Redman of Circleville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Curly" Valentine and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Circleville. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
