Ms. Eileen Julian

R. Eileen Julian, 87, of Lancaster, formerly a long time resident of Amanda, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the home of her daughter. She was born Dec. 10, 1925 in Lancaster and was the daughter of the late Oliver Benton and Sadie Delena (Fisher) Watters. During WW II Eileen worked at the Curtiss-Wright Aircraft Company, she worked as a sales clerk at several locations for many years and was formerly employed at Wendel's Jewelers.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel (Linda) Julian of Lancaster, Timothy Julian of Panama City, FL and Benton Julian of Lancaster; daughter, Lucinda (Stuart) Palestrant of Lancaster; three grandsons, Ty (Kammie) Julian, Bryon (Angie) Julian and Tim (Chris) Julian; eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family would like contributions to be made to any veteran's organization in Lancaster or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Eileen's memory.
