Mary K. Tipple, age 70 of Amanda. Passed away Wednesday morning at Crestview Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a past member of the Lady Knights of Columbus. She was born March 16, 1942 in Lancaster to the late Bernard and Nellie (Shaner) Fox. She is survived by her daughters; Jeannie (Rick) Garrett, Nancy Lee Klatt and Penny (Chad) Carroll, grandchildren; Tyler Carroll and Nicole Klatt, great-grandson Ricky Arehart, sister Reda Bainter all of Lancaster, mother-in-law Louise Tipple of Amanda. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Wendy Arehart, brother and sitster-in-law James and Linda Fox, and father-in-law Joe Tipple. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Taylor Funeral Home, 111 West Main St, Amanda, OH with Father Craig Eilerman officiating. Family will receive friends Friday 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
