Nancy Shawne Lents, 66, of Amanda, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Clyde Alfred and Alma Kathleen (Creech) Bare. Nancy earned an Associates Degree at Morris-Harvey College with honors as a registered nurse. She served as an R.N. at CAMC-General Division. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Westerville and served as the Foreign Missions Director at Ronda Apostolic Church for 30 years.
Nancy is survived by her children, Shawne (John) Pitsenbarger of Amanda and Christopher (Pamela) Jarrett of Charleston, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Geoffrey Nations, Andrew Jarrett, Alicia Nations, Madelyn Jarrett and David Pitsenbarger; one great granddaughter, Scarlet Jarrett; siblings, Keith (Teresa) Bare and Craig Bare both of Columbus, Clyde Bare of Charleston, West Virginia, Rhonda Kirby of Tucson, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2551 W. Schrock Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43081 with Bishop James H. Stark and Pastor James A. Stark officiating. Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.
