Patrick Balser

Patrick Balser, age 78, passed away on October 28, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1965. Served in the Army in Vietnam - 2 tours. Served in the National Guard after active duty. Worked at Anchor Hocking, retiring with 30 years of service then worked at Kroger on Memorial Drive for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, James (Robin) Balser, of Lancaster, Shelly (Larry) Wright, of Lancaster, and John Balser, of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; twin brother, Tommy Balser, of FL; sisters, Karen (John) Hollett, of Lancaster, Jane (Greg) Westenhouser, of Lancaster, Marcia (Steve) Keesee, of Lancaster, and Sue (John) Hargrove, of Pickerington; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Boch; and grandson, Zackery Balser.

The funeral will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Taylor Theller Funeral Home, 111 W Main St, Amanda, OH 43102. The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm, prior to the funeral. Interment with military honors will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster.
