Dear Dave and Kathy, Your Dad, Uncle PD to me, was my second father. I know your loss is great and many who knew your Dad are sharing in your loss. All week I have been remembering so many of the wonderful times I shared with PD. I think of hunting, pitching baseball, going to Pontius church. I learned about creating joy and about connecting with people. Things that I carry with me to this day. I so regret that I can't make it home for the funeral. Two weeks ago I had major back surgery and am home bound here in Denver. The next time I get home I want to hug you and remind you of the love that I experienced from your Dad and Mom my entire life.
