Peggy L. LoMaglio, (Swackhammer) 75, of Amanda, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016. She was born on October 16, 1941 in Hocking County to the late Marshall and Eloise (Poling) Downs. She was a member of Laurelville Church of God and attended Fairview U.M. Church. Peggy enjoyed teaching Sunday School, volunteering for others, loved cooking and baking, singing and gardening
She is survived by her husband Lewis LoMaglio; daughters, Angela Swackhammer-Haegele, and Cynthia Swackhammer; brothers and sisters, Terry (Peggy), Ernest, Violet, Marie, and Judith; numerous nieces and nephews; and close family friend, David Ott. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by husband, Leland Emmanuel Swackhammer; sisters, JoAnn, and Gloria, brothers, Robert, Charles, and Marshall.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. Burial to follow in Tarlton Cemetery at State Rt. 159 and Tarlton Road. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-2 P.M. and 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home. The family would also like to invite friends and family for a luncheon at the Laurelville Church of God following the services on Monday.
