Ralph William Diehl

Ralph W. Diehl, age 75, ofAmanda, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 15, 1950, in Chillicothe, to Raymond and Tina (Thurston) Diehl. He was a graduate of Logan Elm High School and then enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy. Ralph worked at Rockwell and McDonnell Douglas and then retired from Suburban Metal Products in Circleville. Ralph was a talented gunsmith. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and Oliver tractors.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Nataliya) Diehl, of Amanda; granddaughter, Nicole Lee Diehl; brothers, Raymond Lee (Paulette) Diehl, Michael Diehl, and George (Kay) Diehl, all of Hallsville; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vicki (Stonerock) Diehl; son, Shane Diehl.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. There will be no formal service observed. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. A burial at sea of his cremated remains will be held at a later date.
