Raymond E. Snyder Jr.

Raymond E. "Bud" Snyder Jr., age 82 of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at home. He was born March 3, 1940, in Fairfield County, the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Hines) Snyder Sr. Bud co-owned Snyder's Drywall and farmed for many years. He was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Bud loved to fish, to attend church, singing gospel music and he especially loved taking care of his chickens and turkeys.

He is survived by his children, Sandy Wolfe, Ray (Loretta) Snyder III, Penny (Dean) Ball, LeeAnn (Bill) Stotler, and Jeff (Sue) Snyder; numerous grand and great grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Nancy) Snyder; sisters, Marie Luck and Dianne (Harry King) Queen; numerous nieces and nephews; his loving church family; his beloved Jack Russell, "Romeo". He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Erma; brothers, Jack and Billy; sisters, Shirley (Robert) DeLong and Sharon (Robert) Stevens; brother-in-law, David Luck.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Friends may make memorial contributions to Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
