Richard Hart

Richard A. Hart, age 84, of Canal Winchester, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Centerburg Pointe in Centerburg, Ohio. He was born June 22, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Orville and Edna (Fetherolf) Hart. He graduated from Stoutsville High School, class of 1959. After graduation, he enlisted and served four years in the Navy. He retired from Pepsi with 27 years of service. He was a dedicated member of Multiply Church in Reynoldsburg. He was an avid gardener who was proud of his tomatoes. He enjoyed one season of golf, including one "birdie" before his health prevented him from continuing to golf.

He is survived by his children, Timothy (Doris) Hart, of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeffrey (Darla Quincel) Hart, of Cardington; grandchildren, Kalib (Brittany) and Gauge Hart; brother, Don Hart, of Las Vegas, NV; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlotte; his son, John Hart; seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Multiply Church, 6519 Tussing Rd., Reynoldsburg, with Pastor T.J. Wolfe officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church.
