Richard M. Timmons, Jr.

Richard Mack Timmons, Jr., age 31, of Columbus, passed away at Mount Carmel Medical Center on June 3, 2016. He was born December 14, 1984 in Columbus to Richard and Laura (Briggs) Timmons.
Richard is survived by his father, Richard M. Timmons, Sr., of Rockbridge; mother, Laura A. Timmons of Arizona; sisters and brothers, Allison Timmons of Columbus, Rackel Rosado of S. Bloomingville, Raymond “Ray†Timmons of Ashville, and Hannah Fultz of Rockbridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his grandparents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Tammy Timmons.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with cremation to follow.
