Roger L. Cox, 63, of Laurelville, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. He was born October 10, 1954 in Fairfield County, to the late Ralph and Zola (Bibler) Cox. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the United States Army.
Roger is survived by seven brothers and sisters, William E. (Carolyn) Cox of Lancaster, Jeffrey (Marcy) Cox of Laurelville, Marvin L. Cox of Circleville, Belinda (Robert) Tandy of Lancaster, Donna (Jess) Danner of Laurelville, Barbara Young of Circleville, and Patricia (Dan) Picketts of Logan, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Gerald Mershimer officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery with military honors provided by AMVETS Post #2256 of Circleville. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster 43130 in Roger’s memory.
