Jake Kleinline

Ronald "Jake" Kleinline, age 83, of Amanda, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Pickaway Manor in Circleville. He was born on February 23, 1943, in Columbus, to Forrest "Bub" and Ruth (Smyers) Kleinline. Jake was a graduate of Groveport Madison High School, class of 1961. Jake's career was spent in two family owned construction businesses, Kleinline Acoustics and Simmons and Kleinline. He was a longtime member of the Amanda Presbyterian Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. His pride and joy was the small town he built, "Jakesville" where he enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Amy (Dwayne) Vannoy, of Amanda, Matt (Aubrey) Kleinline, of Amanda, Valerie (Shannon McFarland) Kleinline, of Canal Winchester, and Aaron (Margarita) Kleinline, of Lima, Peru; grandchildren, Sarah (John) King, Dalton (Denisha) Vannoy, Cole (Grace) Kleinline, Cort (Lilly) Kleinline, Izabella Kleinline, S.J. McFarland, Gunner McFarland, and Daleshka; nine great grandchildren; sister, Linda Bowling, of Obetz; longtime family friend, Gary (Amber) Hennis, of Lithopolis; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Della (McClure) Kleinline; brothers, Billy and Fredrick Kleinline.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, with Chaplain Stan Kirtlan officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery, The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
