Roy Vernon Scott, 83, of Carroll, passed away on August 16, 2026 at home. Roy was born on June 17, 1943 to Russell and Anna (Wolfe) Scott in Lancaster. He attended school at Rushville Union High School class of 1961. He then went on to the Andrew Columbus Barber College. He worked for the Plaza Barber Shop. He took a job at Anchor Hocking before returning to the Plaza where he retired from in 2026. He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Bigham) Scott with whom he just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary with.

Children: Tim (Angie)Scott; Tracy (Misty), Rebekah (Stephen) and Leslie Bussert. He was also proceeded in death by his son Shane Daniel Scott.

Grandchildren: Joshua Schroeder, Dakota (Georgia) Leedom, Marissa (Stuart) Brooks, Cheyenne (Aaron) McCall, Kiowa (Sierra) Bussert, Jeralyn (Michael) Hines, Courtney King, Aaron and Jacob Simpson; Maxwell Scott.

Great Grandkids: Caiden, Braylon, Caleb and Bailey Schroeder; Kian and Ella Leedom, Braelynn and Brantley Lamb; Colin Brooks; Mae Worthington; Jackson, River, Bennett Entler; Brilynn Moss; Grayson Waugh; Michael Geletzke II; Payton Cook.

Brother: Gene (Dee) Scott. He was proceeded in death by his brother Carl Scott and Sister June Hobensack.

Brother-in-law Todd Bigham; Sister-in-laws: Linda (Chico) Coleman, Carol, Carla Rae and Carla June Bigham, Lisa (Mick) Ritchie, Rhonda (Mike) Parrish. Roy was proceeded in death by his brother-in-law Doug Bigham.

Roy will also be missed by his dog Ricky.

The family would like to invite everyone to The Hitching Post Ranch at 4904 Hamburg Rd SW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 on September 20, 2026 at 2 p.m. to share stories, pictures and just time together.
