Ruth L. Henson, 50, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 20, 1962 in Columbus and was the daughter of Robert and Lucille (Cordle) Trusler.
Ruth is survived by a son, Douglas Ricks of Gahanna; daughters, Heather (Jason) Shields of Lancaster and Brittany Miller of Amanda; grandchildren, Kylah and Rishelle Pickering and Maddylin Shields; brothers and sisters, Joe and Danny Trusler, Lisa Herb, Pam (Gregory) McCandlish and Billy Rice; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Jim and Leann Henson of Amanda. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Mel Trusler.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Rev. Norman Wright officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday
