Scarlett "Gig" Cline

Scarlett "Gig" Cline, 81, of Carroll, Ohio, was called to her eternal home on September 24, 2026. Born in Radcliff, Ohio, on November 7, 1944, to Owen Floyd Perry and Lucille Boster Perry Macomber. She graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School in 1962. Scarlett was a longtime member of Greencastle Bible Church, where she worshiped faithfully and treasured the fellowship and love of her church family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family and friends. She especially cherished her many years with the Christian Horse Club and Ladies Bible Study, where she grew in faith, shared her love of horses and singing with the girls, and built lasting friendships. These ladies became a very special part of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Matthew) Leupp; grandchildren, James Ritchey, Jaclyn Ritchey, and Alex (Khristin) Ritchey; one great-grandson; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Cline; her parents; her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Timothy Ritchey; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and William Pugh; and her brother, Richard Perry.

Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find comfort in God's promise of eternal life and rejoice in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Lord, free from earthly sorrow and reunited with those who went before her.

Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026 and from 10-11 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2026 at Greencastle Bible Church, 2940 Amanda Northern Rd NW, Carroll, OH. The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026 officiated by Pastor Mike Wyatt. Burial will follow in Lithopolis Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greencastle Bible Church Benevolence Fund.
