Sherry Peters

Sherry A. Peters, age 80, of Amanda, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. She was born April 28, 1945, in Stoutsville, to Virgil and Nora (Reed) Wright. She was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek HIgh School, class of 1963. Although a very private woman, Sherry loved to spend time with and spoil her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty (Gerry) Brockman, of Stoutsville and her grandchildren, Peter, Victoria, and Jack Brockman. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Peters; brother, Larry Wright; sister, Deeanna (Duke) Lee Dauch.

At her request, no formal services will be observed. Her family will conduct a private celebration her life at a later date. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
