Stanley E. Timmons

Stanley E. Timmons, 73, of Amanda, devoted husband and father, a true family man loved by so many, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was born on September 17, 1952, to the late Herbert E. and Mildred L. (Graves) Timmons.

He graduated from Amanda Clearcreek High School in 1971. Stanley was a farm kid and went straight to work for O.D.O.T., with almost 33 years of service. He survived the Blizzard of 78. He was a true outdoorsman and would take any chance to be outdoors with his family. That was his happy place. So many kids looked up to him as a father figure. He will truly be missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anita (Shupe) Timmons; son, Matthew R. (Cassie) Timmons of Amanda; daughter, Tanya R. Hicks of Amanda; son, Devon R. (Courtney) Timmons of Amanda; siblings, Terry T. Timmons of Arkansas, Linda Daughtery of Amanda, and Harry (Lisa) Timmons of Stoutsville; adopted daughters, Heidi Jo James of Lancaster, Crystal Brown of Amanda; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His fur babies, Squish, and Tilly Marie.

Cremation will be observed according to Stanley's wishes, but a celebration of life is being planned for a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St, Amanda, OH 43102.
